What is a Quilt Spree and how does it work? Spree is defined as a fun-filled social event and that is what we have planned for your enjoyment! Central Ohio is home to 10 independent quilt shops. "Quilt Spree!" includes THREE organized events that give you an opportunity to visit all 10 quilt shops, have fun and even save money! Super Saturday is the first Saturday in May, the 2010 Summer Shop Hop event is July 22nd - 31st and Holiday Fest is December 3-4. |

What do I need to participate? All you need to do is purchase your $15 Quilt Spree packet, visit our 10 unique shops and have your Card stamped, laugh and enjoy your friends and we'll do the rest. |

What does my Quilt Spree packet include?
1) 10 full-color quilt patterns 2010 theme is Celebrate Food Holidays with Table Toppers, Runners and More 2) 2010 Passport Show your passport at all 3 Quilt Spree events: Show passport on Super Saturday for specials at each shop you visit Show passport during July Shop Hop for Special sale item for passport holders Coupon for use 8/1/10-6/30/11 for each shop you visit Show passport at December Holiday Fest for Free admittance to Holiday Shopping Mall AND to collect your Holiday gift 3) Hopper Stamp Card- a tear-off section of passport Collect stamps during Super Saturday & July Shop Hop Turn in Card by July 31 to be eligible for hundreds of prizes including sewing machines, $500 shopping spree, project kits, baskets of goodies and more On vacation in July? Just need more time to visit all the shops? Create your own Shop Hop... visit the shops August 1-November 30, have your card stamped and pick up at special coupon for a future visit at each shop you visit. | Will there be bus trips in 2010? The bus trips for 2010 Shop op are now complete! We had a great time visiting all 10 shops each day! See you next year. |

| When do passport sales begin? On-line orders for pickup in a selected participating shop on May 1 began April 1st. Super Saturday on May 1st is the official beginning sale date in the shops. Packets can be picked up in any shop or ordered on-line. |

Why did you change your name from Central Ohio Quilt Shop Hop? We wanted to expand the event to include other days during the year. Many of you visited the shops during the First Annual Super Saturday in May and were pleasantly surpised at the savings and fun you discovered. The summer event is more than a Shop Hop... it includes demos, trunk shows, special displays and more. Besides, we are quilters and we like doing new and different things... we are never bored! |

I live out of town. Where should I stay? The Columbus metro area is home to many fine hotels. We have negotiated a special rate at the Holiday Inn in Worthington ($75 per night, including continental breakfast). Please call the hotel at 614/436-0700. July Shop Hop code is SH1. |

What special events are happening? Trunk shows, special displays, demos and other surprises are currently in the planning stages for this year's event. Be sure to check back for updates. |

How are prizes awarded? Just drop your completed "Hopper Stamp Card" in the marked box at the last shop you visit, no later than closing on the final day. All the shops' "Hopper Stamp Cards" will be combined and winners drawn the following week. You will be called by the quilt shop you circled on your card. Good luck! |

I need to buy a pattern from a previous year- where can I find one? A limited number of copies of prior year's quilt books/calendar and patterns are still available. Order on-line at our NEW secure store or call 800-228-6624 to order using Mastercard or Visa or call to obtain a list of shops selling the book. |

With gasoline prices so high, what if I am unable to visit all the shops? You will still be eligible to win prizes. When you are finished with your visits, just drop your "Hopper Stamp Card" in the ballot box at the last shop you visit. |
